Girls Empowerment Program (Frisoli Youth Center)

The girls Empowerment Program is for young women to explore a host of enriching activities including volleyball, self-defense, tennis, swimming, arts, science and other academic areas, field trips and much more. The curriculum is designed to build the confidence and self-esteem of the young women in the program.

Leaders in Action (LIA) (Frisoli Youth Center)

Operated by Cambridge Youth Programs, the Leaders in Action Program is an internship program for Cambridge teens providing an opportunity for youth to learn about leadership, community issues and outreach, PR/marketing, fundraising and event planning. Program participants will plan new and exciting events for teens and the community while developing new ideas about social responsibility, tolerance and diversity. Youth in the program will work in a group led by CYP staff to help facilitate their learning. While in the program teens will participate in workshops that will build life skills and career awareness.
